In this course, you will:

  • Understand robot systems: sensors, actuators, and embedded controllers
  • Program microcontrollers and integrate sensors for real-time control
  • Work with ROS (Robot Operating System) for modular robotics software
  • Implement perception using basic computer vision and sensor fusion
  • Develop path planning, motion control and obstacle avoidance algorithms

During Softflew’s robotics summer training in Lucknow, you’ll prototype autonomous robots, integrate sensors, program control systems, deploy ROS nodes, test navigation, apply computer vision, tune controllers, and present a functional automation project to potential employers.

  • Laptop with Linux/Windows (Ubuntu recommended for ROS work)
  • Arduino/ESP32 board or similar for hands-on sessions (recommended)
  • Python installed (for ROS, OpenCV, and scripting)
  • Basic electronics kit (breadboard, sensors, motors) or willingness to use provided lab kits
  • Stable internet and webcam for remote labs and debugging
